- The Rolling Suitcase Drive still needs our help in providing rolling suitcases to homeless people to improve secure mobility of their possessions and provide the dignity of a suitcase rather than a plastic bag. - The Emergency Food and Shelter Program is currently open for applications from agencies in Fulton and DeKalb counties. All information can be found at https://efsp-atl.org/phase-39/. Applications are due Friday, March 11, at 5 p.m. If your congregation or ministry provides emergency food and/or shelter, see if you qualify for these funds.

- The Rev. Dr. Joshua Scott, associate pastor at Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta, is the featured preacher February 27 on “Day 1,” the nationally broadcast ecumenical radio program also accessible online at Day1.org and via podcast. Scott’s sermon, “Everything Changes with God,” is based on the account of the transfiguration of Jesus found in Luke 9:28-36. - Organist Calvert Johnson, Charles A. Dana Professor Emeritus of Music and College Organist Emeritus at Agnes Scott College, and recently retired organist at First Presbyterian Church in Marietta, will perform at the Cathedral of St. Philip, Sunday, Feb. 27, at 3:15. - This semester, 3 leading Reformation scholars share with stories and voices of women of the Reformation era. - Pathways to Promise Transforming Faith Landscapes with WISE. This workshop will dive into the exciting work by UCC's Mental Health Network's WISE, acronym for Welcoming, Inclusive, Supportive, and Engaged, around issues of mental health. This program has become so compelling that churches outside of UCC have achieved the certification as well as synagogues and now, campus ministries. Dr. Vicky Harvey will talk about the key components that give WISE its organic nature within a community and how any group can utilize its principles.
