Do you have a few extra hours each month and your own vehicle? Cancer patients from Fulton and DeKalb Counties need your help to get to their medical treatments. Road to Recovery, an American Cancer Society program, needs kind people to volunteer their time and use their own cars to drive patients to and from their appointments. Schedules are flexible. For more information, please contact Erin Elliott, Transportation Solutions Manager, at 404.582.6135 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Food Pantry Forum, July 25, 10 a.m., 458 Ponce de Leon Avenue. Our hosts are the Grace United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Board of Global Missions with coffee and treats provided by United Way.
We plan a robust program with a presentation -- Being a Client Choice Pantry, Developing Partnerships, Where We Get the Food We Give. After the presentations we will have time for Q & A and conversation as we continue to learn from each other.
Through the generosity of the manager of Lowe’s at Newnan Crossing we will have a great door prize, a refrigerator! And, delivered to your location! So be thinking if this could help your pantry take advantage of fresh produce from gardens and prepared food from restaurants or catering services.
We need to know if you are coming. Email email@example.com
