“Men Wanted: Fulton County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is looking for some good men (and women) to train as advocates for children in foster care. No special education or experience is required. Training starts on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 and continues for the next nine Tuesdays from 6 PM to 9 PM. DeKalb County will host its latest free food distribution event this weekend, handing out a total of about 3,700 boxes of meat and produce to residents in need.
Each package of food will include a 20-pound box of fruit and vegetables and a bag of ground beef or chicken hindquarters.
