Join Georgia Cares, Street Grace, and Wellspring Living on Thursday, February 11 to make your voice heard in the fight to end Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking! Your attendance at this Lobby Day is particularly important to show support for the passage of SR 7 during the 2016 general election, which would provide funds to the Safe Harbor for Sexually Exploited Children Fund in order to provide care and services to those who have been exploited.

Following your visit to the Capitol, return to the Freight Depot for CARE18's launch of an 18-month, multi-sector human trafficking collaborative launching in Atlanta, GA around four key areas: Communication, Advocacy, Recovery and Engagement.
Learn about successes of the CARE18 model in another urban context (Los Angeles), and next steps for engagement. A schedule will be provided for the upcoming 18-month collaborative happening from February 2016 - July 2017. Click below for more information and to register.

Georgia Alliance to Prevent Homelessness announces a Call for Presenters for the 2026 Conference, Community Power in Ending Homelessness: From Systems to Solutions, taking place May 4–6, 2026 at the Marietta Conference Center. This year’s conference will focus on aligning federal and state direction with community-driven innovation, measurable outcomes, and long-term stability. Practitioners, policymakers, researchers, advocates, law enforcement, healthcare partners, and community leaders are invited to submit workshop proposals aligned with the following tracks: 1. Federal & State Policy Shifts, 2. Community-Driven Solutions, 3. Long-Term Self-Sufficiency & Outcomes, 4. Data, Accountability & Measuring Success, 5. Workforce Sustainability,  6. Housing Stability & Supply, 7. Homelessness Reform & System Transformation,  8. Crisis Response, Workplace Safety & Public Safety Partnerships, 9. Addressing Root Causes Before and Alongside Housing.
