Greater Piney Grove Seeks Counseling Professional

The Care & Counseling Ministry of The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1879 Glenwood Ave. S. E., Atlanta 30316, is looking for a counseling professional to partner with by having a small satellite office within its soon to open Community Resource Center.  This individual will be working in conjunction with the Community Development Corporation (CDC), and the director of Care & Counseling at GPGBC.  

The ideal candidate should be an active participant within their respective Christian faith institution, have experience working with church congregations, and have the ability to work with individuals that may come from a variety of ethnic backgrounds within the community.  The individual should be equipped to accept insurance payments for counseling and care services rendered and offer a sliding fee scale based upon income.  Finally, it is preferable for the individual to possess a state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-or a comparable licensure).  Professional Liability insured will also be required.
