The 7th Annual SafeTeen Georgia Driving Academy at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Saturday, May 5, was a great success. More than 1,000 Metro-Atlanta teens and parents and over 70 Police, Fire and EMS professionals will participated.
Teens and their parents
Learned about Georgia Driving Laws, Distracted and Impaired Driving, Trauma Care, Car Maintenance, Railroad Crossing Safety and much more in a series of “pit stop” classes
Experienced driving on an obstacle course using fatal vision goggles or while texting
Watched what happens in a roll-over accident; take a braking test on simulators
Witnessed a car crash extraction using the Jaws of Life and a live Helicopter Rescue

It may be used for individual reflection, group Bible study, adult education sessions, and congregational daily devotions. This began on June 16 but can be used at any time.
