Longleaf Hospice is actively seeking volunteers to serve patients and families dealing with a life-limiting illness across the metro Atlanta area. Compassionate, caring and dedicated volunteers are needed to offer patient support, including reading, talking, taking walks, and building friendships, and caregiver respite, which includes providing relief and peace of mind for the caregivers to have time to care for themselves, go to appointments, visit friends, or attend religious services. Contact Kirsten Black, volunteer coordinator, at 770-939-9179 or kirsten.black@longleafhospice.com.
