Holy Week Pilgrimage for Immigrants 2013

The Holy Week Pilgrimage for Immigrants is an act of faith, solidarity, and hospitality; it is a prayer with feet. With our feet, we pray that our faith communities and nation will search for ways that favor a spirit of solidarity with and justice for immigrants. We walk by a faith that transcends borders and bids us to overcome all forms of discrimination and violence so that we may build relationships that are just and loving. Lead Organizer is…

Food Pantry Forum

Food Pantry Forum, July 25, 10 a.m., 458 Ponce de Leon Avenue.  Our hosts are the Grace United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Board of Global Missions with coffee and treats provided by United Way.

We plan a robust program with a presentation -- Being a Client Choice Pantry, Developing Partnerships, Where We Get the Food We Give.  After the presentations we will have time for Q & A and conversation as we continue to learn from each other.

Through the generosity of the manager of Lowe’s at Newnan Crossing we will have a great door prize, a refrigerator!  And, delivered to your location! So be thinking if this could help your pantry take advantage of fresh produce from gardens and prepared food from restaurants or catering services.

We need to know if you are coming. Email ecarter@rccatl.org
